First little bit in the field and a pretty good step forward. Soo my companion is from the Philippines and speaks Tagalog! I thought I was not going to make any progress in the language here in Washington/Oregon but it looks like I might have a chance. Not only that but he his home is in my mission boandries and he knows my mission president. Oh and he graduated college and studied culinary so he can cook. But I guess miracles like this happen to me often. I am already owe President White big time for arranging this and letting it happen. I'm getting many new things I wasn't expecting on my mission. I have a phone, and I'm driving a car, I have more fun with that car than the phone. We need that car to drive through all the farmland, the people are mostly rednecks.
