1st baptism!!

Let me tell you a few highlights of our weekend here in Lea valley! Sister Cummings, Brother Augustine--ward mission leader, Peter, Sister Soulier PETER WAS BAPTIZED!!! :D Yes it was really neat. However baptism weeks are so stressful. Let me just explain what happened day of... Day of baptism is daylight savings. We called and reminded Peter the night before and he laughed and said he wouldn't forget. Well roll around to 10 am the next morning at sacrament meeting, and no Peter. Here Sister Cummings and I are taking the sacrament and there is no sign of Peter! Ah he is going to be baptized today and he is not even here to take the sacrament!! We were just a little stressed. Thank goodness 20 mins later Peter walked in. So we have eyes on the person being baptized. First step: complete. Next step: fill up the baptismal font! Okay, well we need a key. And guess where the key is? Well, your guess is as good as mine because no one knew where the key was. Gah o...

London temple visit

March 28th letter A visit to the London Temple Peter - well Peter has started a new job. Which is wonderful because he will never need to work on Sunday! But he did not tell us he was switching jobs until this week...and his work is  Monday to Saturday . And he can't get it off. And his baptism is on Saturday. Oh Peter. Wow what are we going to do. And to add another stressful thing to the table, Peter left his phone at work and we had no access to contact him.  Sunday morning  we went to his apartment and pounded on his door, but no answer. We eventually have to go to church and he wasn't there. That was really scary. But he came for the second hour and we actually saw him! We talked for a minute but then he ran out because he had to go to his friends christening. We were scheduled to meet him later that day, but he still didn't have his phone on him so the appointment could not be confirmed. Well we weren't able to come until about 9 that night and again p...

Cups

musical number performed at zone conf. Letter March 14, 2016 I never really know what to email about mission life because it is an entire week written in an hour on an iPad. Not very easy to do. Furthermore people change all the time because they are either progressing or not. So i might--actually will--email about new and different people all the time. We are working with these people all day for 7 days, so a lot can change!! I sure appreciate all your love and prayers though :). Our investigators were so happy and surprised that you were praying for them! Peter keeps saying, my name is in America? Oh wow. Hahahah he's hilarious. Okay so Imma give an update on the people... PETER--Oh Peter is the greatest. He has been keeping commitments so well and last week he received a personal testimony that the true church was restored through Joseph Smith!  It was incredible and so humbling to hear him simply bear witness of it!! And after church this week he came up ...

No letter!

We are not very happy because supposedly the ipad is not working, and we didn't get a letter today.  So so sad!  Just these video clips.  And then a screen shot of a letter.  Pathetic!
