Hi again!! It was so great to see and talk to all of you yesterday! I loved it so much. And it sounds like Christmas was a ton of fun!! Still can't believe you got a phone Sarah. And a new dog?? What's the dog's name again? I forgot. That poor thing is going to absolutely freeze outside.  I will try to be better with emails. Well at least I feel motivated now. Kind of.  Tuesday I was on an exchange with Sister Kinney. She is a ton of fun to be with. And a great missionary. She made better relationships with the ward members in one day then I did in three weeks! We taught a lot that day. We saw Eline. (Quick reminder on her Eline is 35 yrs old from Brazil, married and has a 4 month old son) she is out of town now but she gets back in a couple of weeks. We saw Ndiaye later on. We have no idea how to help him. He keeps coming up with very random concerns. Maybe saying "Nagadeff?" Will help him haha.   Wednesday we had district meeting. The...

Hi family!! (Crazy next time that will be over skype!!!) Tuesday we had such a fun exchange with our lovely Romford sisters. I went with Sister Cardoso! She is fantastic. We just laughed the entire time together. I'd love being companions with her. We also visited the local seek temple today with the Romford sisters. (Its about two streets from our house). You have to cover your head when you come in. There is a big room with older woman singing/chanting in the corner that you go in to kneel down. It was super interesting. Our ward mission leader, Brother Osaghae.  His family is just the funniest and craziest.  He can't remember our names to save his life.  Sis Daines went up to him the other day and said, "I'll give you 35£ if you can tell me my name.  He thought and thought and finally said, "Elder Daniels!" Curtis, a recent convert Toba, a recent convert excited to receive his endowments in a month.  Before he met...

Brodie Brother Kumar Sisters at Zone meeting Sister Daines Coming back from MLC Sister Barnes Hey! I don't know why but every time I sit down to do emails on Monday I just get a stupor of thought. Who knows what happened this week. One thing I can think of though is because of Christmas we will all be skyping again soon! Can we Skype 8:00 England time, 1:00 Utah time? Hope that works. And I will just call dad's skype name again. Really looking forward to it!!! There is a big Christmas conference this upcoming Wednesday. We are just planning and putting everything together right now with the zl's. I feel like it is Skyline all over again. That will be really fun though!!! We are still fighting for Ndiaye to be baptized this month. He just needs to recognize his answer!! We are going to be seeing him tonight so hopefully all goes well. Eline is doing well. She came to church yesterday :). The only problem is she is going to Portugual for two wee...

Dec. 5, 2016

Hello! I  sent two videos on the iCloud. They tell a little bit about the week. Other than that I have a few random stories. On the first day with Sister Daines a random man walked into the chapel. Through the broken Romanian I knew, google translate, pamphlets, and eventually calling a member who spoke Italian (he knew Italian). Taught him a little bit, showed him around and even promised English lessons. This is the third or fourth time this has happened to me. We ended up never seeing him again, but it was a fun way to start the transfer! :) Ndiaye (Enji) is SO GOOD. He came to church for the second time and the stake Christmas concert. He is golden. He has accepted the word of wisdom. No more tea. Eline is doing well. She wants to be baptized but she thinks December 18th is too early. Except she is going out of town for two weeks after and that is a little frightening. She needs to come to church and be baptized December 18th! Please pray for her to know if that is the right da...

Thanksgiving

Hello!! This email may be a bit of a marathon, frankly I don't know where to start. From the greatest sister training leader meeting, to #LIGHTtheWORLD, to Thanksgiving, to stake conference, to Ndiaye, to Global Buffet, to calling an ambulance, and transfers. This week was quite a ride. Now you may know why I don't know where to start.  Probably should start with transfers, but not quite yet.  Okay so the sister training leader meeting on Tuesday. This is the first one ever, and I am praying we get another one soon! It was basically the greatest thing ever. The meeting took place in President and Sister Stevens' FLAT. So just close your eyes and picture in your mind one of Sarah's hallmark Christmas movies where everything is wrapping up and the family is all gathered around in the coziest room with beautiful Christmas decorations, soft music playing in the background, fire blazing, lights twinkling, good feelings all around. It was basically that. Plus the...
