Hi again!!
It was so great to see and talk to all of you yesterday! I loved it so much. And it sounds like Christmas was a ton of fun!! Still can't believe you got a phone Sarah. And a new dog?? What's the dog's name again? I forgot. That poor thing is going to absolutely freeze outside.
I will try to be better with emails. Well at least I feel motivated now. Kind of.
Tuesday I was on an exchange with Sister Kinney. She is a ton of fun to be with. And a great missionary. She made better relationships with the ward members in one day then I did in three weeks! We taught a lot that day. We saw Eline. (Quick reminder on her Eline is 35 yrs old from Brazil, married and has a 4 month old son) she is out of town now but she gets back in a couple of weeks. We saw Ndiaye later on. We have no idea how to help him. He keeps coming up with very random concerns. Maybe saying "Nagadeff?" Will help him haha.
Wednesday we had district meeting. The poor piano in the relief society room. The middle c doesn't work--it is stuck and no matter how hard you try you can't push it down. Which is a little bit tricky when a lot of hymns start on C.
Later that night it was getting close to 8 and we had call ins soon (where we report how we are doing so far to the district leader) and so I wanted to go home because it was freezing. But Sister Daines being the good missionary she is kept us finding. Thank goodness for her. Ben texted us while we were out and asked if we could see him at the church. YES into the warmth again! We sat down and started teaching him and suddenly a pi walked in! (Potential investigator) it was a guy we were supposed to see the day before. He said sorry for being late. Yes 36 hours late. Miracle though because we got to teach him and have a member there with Ben!!!
Friday was another exchange. I went with Sister Jung from South Korea. She is a very sweet person. Really kind. We went street contacting and played hark the herald angels sing while we stopped people. It was so much fun!
And then Christmas Eve we got to watch tangled at the Ramesh's!!!! I was fabulous. But our eyes were hurting after from staring. The Ramesh's are a cute crazy family. She feeds us so much food you wouldn't believe it. And it is so spicy. I have cried many times at her house. Darling kids though and Darren will have his baptism interview on Wednesday!!
And then Christmas! I told you all about Christmas. A great day.
