January 23

Hello! Thanks for all the videos and emails :). I loved them all! And I got all the letters! Cute Christmas card! I'm glad I made the cut. Let's see what happened this week. No more snow. And the sun as been out! Although still cold. Still "mighty fresh!" as sister Swann would say. We had interviews with president and sister Stevens!!! They are just the greatest. At the end of the meeting Sister Daines and I met with them and talked about the sisters. It was such a special experience. They are incredibly good. Afterward we all knelt in prayer and Sister Stevens offered a prayer. The spirit was so strong. You can just tell right away that everything they do is for their missionaries. I am so so grateful for them! Another incredible experience with Michaela this week! (Man she is the best) she lives with her boyfriend and so we taught her the law of chastity and explained that she had to start living it or she pulsing be baptized. Her respo...

Hey family!!!! LOVE LOVE LOVE the emails I got from all of you! Bless you all.  It hasn't been a super eventful week. A bunch of people tried to drop us but silly them we are the only ones who do the dropping. Sister Daines and I have been sick and so we had to stay in to rest. Eh not always the best. And we have had SO MUCH tea. It helps a lot plus in England do as the English.  Ndiaye got confirmed. Ah what a fight! The day of he wasn't answering the phone, you know opposition in all things or God would cease to be God what can you do. Sister Daines had an impression to go to his house (thank goodness). So we ran to his house in the pouring rain while church was starting. We found his flat which was a  miracle  because the last time I had been there was at least a transfer and a half ago. John 14:26 is real. We pounded the door and 10 minutes later Ndiaye opened the door. He said he was super sick. We said, well, then grab your hat because we ...

Jan 10 at 4:28  AM (Sorry if you don't want this email I totally understand if it is not interesting in the slightest I just had to email because I was so excited for this week)  OH MY GOODNESS. WHAT A WEEK. OH MY GOODNESS.  Alright everyone, strap in because this email is a rollercoaster. (I have no idea where to start. Or if this was the most stressful week of my mission or the best week) Here we go!!!!!! Beginning of the week: James baptism is scheduled for Sunday and he needs his baptism interview still. Okay it's fine he passed all the questions with us and he will be great. People mistake him for a member all the time for crying out loud. Slight problem arises...James come to church last Sunday but he missed his return appointment which was his...

2017 oh my goodness gracious. Can you believe it?! :-) This week has been a great one! I have even been better at keeping a journal. Not perfect but I'll get there someday. Our good friend James is doing incredibly well. His baptism interview is tomorrow. He is incredibly good. He compares the book Mormon and the Bible to cross references. I am pretty sure I never did that until seven months into my mission. Sister Danes would like to add that she has never done that. I remember the first time James came to church. Someone thought he was on the high Council that's when you know it's good. And we have a suspicion that he owns the best restaurant in Milford. We know that he owns a restaurant but every time we ask him about it he suddenly change of subject or runs out. Not joking. The restaurant is called global buffet. Which is basically every food on planet earth in Ilford in a restaurant on a buffet plate. Which would also make James super rich because it...
