Hey family!!!!
LOVE LOVE LOVE the emails I got from all of you! Bless you all.
It hasn't been a super eventful week. A bunch of people tried to drop us but silly them we are the only ones who do the dropping. Sister Daines and I have been sick and so we had to stay in to rest. Eh not always the best. And we have had SO MUCH tea. It helps a lot plus in England do as the English.
Ndiaye got confirmed. Ah what a fight! The day of he wasn't answering the phone, you know opposition in all things or God would cease to be God what can you do. Sister Daines had an impression to go to his house (thank goodness). So we ran to his house in the pouring rain while church was starting. We found his flat which was a miracle because the last time I had been there was at least a transfer and a half ago. John 14:26 is real. We pounded the door and 10 minutes later Ndiaye opened the door. He said he was super sick. We said, well, then grab your hat because we are getting you to church no matter what! We raced to the bus stop and Heavenly Father took care of us and got us a bus to church almost immediately. We raced into sacrament meeting with 15 mins to go. I texted bishop and told him that Ndiaye was here and would it be okay if he got confirmed at the end of sacrament meeting. Bishop texted back saying maybe if there is time. Okay we will take a large slice of humble pie and just apologize and express thanks. In the end Ndiaye did get confirmed. Whew. All in all, great opportunity to be the Lord's wind.
Crazy crazy Sunday. We barely got the sacrament. (There is no way we are going without the sacrament rn) however it was the only time we sat down. But we got it in the end. Just a bit frazzled ya know.
On a slightly disheartening note, James moved to Bath for the month of January. Yeah not a joke. Where even is bath??? But he is coming back in February so hopefully all will go well.
Eline is back in town and we are planning on seeing her this week. Please pray that she will be ready to be baptized soon! Preferably in the month of January.
One of my favorite people we are seeing is Michaela from Czech Republic. She is super good. She is 21 yrs old. But she is living with her boyf :( and doesn't live the word of wisdom. And this week her boyfriend said she can't meet with us anymore. Too bad we don't care what he thinks! No it'll work out. We were really worried but she still wants to meet. And this week she went without coffee!! So proud of her!!!! :). She will definitely need to break up with the boyfriend though. He is no good for her.
And we had a potential friend show up on Thursday. He also came to a lesson on Friday and saturday. And now he has been taught l2, l3, WoW, LoC, and Sabbath Day. YES MIRACLE! Dhillon from Punjabi India. He is a good one.
