update on our friendssss...

Muscle Mark.  Oh he is doing dandy!  He is so great.  Been to church 3
times now and has been taught almost everything except for lesson 5
and tithing.  Some things may have happened in the past so we may need
to get an interview with President, but we will figure that out!
Pretty sure that is the second or third person we have needed to send
to President.  Mark has been listening to the Book of Mormon, he is
now up to chapter 5 in 1 Nephi as of Sunday.  super good :)  His
baptism will be October 23rd and everything is looking good for him!

Joe.  Joe came to church again!  3rd time also.  Super good!  But he
just comes for sacrament meeting.  Still working on the other portion.
We taught him once this week--about the plan of salvation!  Went
pretty good.  Got a little bit stuck on Adam and Eve but we made it
eventually.  Plan of Salvation.  So important.  it is such a great
thing to teach.  Explains so clearly the need for a Savior and the
doctrine of Christ.  Is has so much truth in it!  So much that people
are searching for or have no idea if it even exists!  The only problem
is if they are actually interested to listen.  That is a whole
different situation.  We are very lucky to have it though.  So lucky.
(PS you should go share it with everyone.  Missionary work at home!!
YEAH!) (although I am little nervous to encourage the missionary work
at home because I certainly could've stepped up my game.  I don't have
too many ideas, i would refer you to Lily.  The missionary expert.)

Jane.  Jane and her son Israel came to church on sunday!  Super good!
And apparently now she wants to pay tithing?  Oh man.  hopefully this
is a really good sign.  She has been going to church for 10 years and
has never been baptized.  And doesn't want to commit.  So we are
trying to force (build faith and change and commit) her to baptism.
We are seeing her on Friday and we will get an update of how general
conference went.  Apparently it went well, but still not sure if she
got her answer or not.

Not much update on Ana and Dino.  Just found out they are now going to
get baptized November 5th.  Different things with the ward and word of
wisdom things came up, but they will be just fine.

And this is really not okay but transfers is next week.  Forget
transfers feeling like a week, they feel like a day!  So emails will
be on tuesday next week.  this is not okay.

I'm afraid I feel asleep and couldn't finish the email. So here is the
update on everyone and we will talk later next week when transfers
happens!
Love, Sister Soulier

November 14

Good evening :) Crazy crazy week as always.  Not sure where to start and where to end. Unfortunately Mark's baptism had to be postponed.  He is still coming to church and loves learning and wants to get baptized.  A concern came up and his baptism needed to be postponed.  We also passed him to the elders to continue to get ready for his baptism.  I'll keep you posted.   Eline is doing so fantastically well.  She accepted the word of wisdom no problem and continues to prepare for baptism on December 11th!  She is very prepared. Our other prepared favorite investigator, Jane Susan.  Pretty sure I already told you all about her.  Hopefully.  Her sister and niece recently got baptized in Gorelston (by Norwich) and told Jane about how they love the church, so now Jane wants to learn.  She was a referral from the Stratford ward.  She is so prepared it is so great teaching her.  Appointments last precisely 45...

July and warming up

July 19 HELLO!!!! Good to hear from all of you!  I know I say this every time. But time is going so fast. Next week will be transfers. I do not want to lose my companion. We need to stay together. You can pray for that. Just kidding. We will se what next week brings! P day will be on Tuesday again so emails will be late. This week was a good week!! I'm trying to remember everything that happened. It's all such a blur. Oh Nish!!! Our lovely investigator from India. She wow. She is all over the place. Every day (no every hour) Sister Guimaraes and I go back and forth of whether she I'll make her date for July 30th or not. We just don't know what to think. She has refused to give up coffee at all in the past. This week we committed her to no coffee and she did it! In fact in our lesson on Saturday she said she could give up coffee forever!! (Except for this coffee dessert but we will work it out). What a drastic change this was. All because she is praying and reading ev...
