Hi family!! (Crazy next time that will be over skype!!!)

Tuesday we had such a fun exchange with our lovely Romford sisters. I
went with Sister Cardoso! She is fantastic. We just laughed the entire
time together. I'd love being companions with her.
We also visited the local seek temple today with the Romford sisters. (Its
about two streets from our house). You have to cover your head when
you come in. There is a big room with older woman singing/chanting in
the corner that you go in to kneel down. It was super interesting.

Our ward mission leader, Brother Osaghae.  His family is just the funniest and craziest.  He can't remember our names to save his life.  Sis Daines went up to him the other day and said, "I'll give you 35£ if you can tell me my name.  He thought and thought and finally said, "Elder Daniels!"

Curtis, a recent convert

Toba, a recent convert excited to receive his endowments in a month.  Before he met the sisters, he was homeless.  He met them on a bus, decided to come to church the next day, and was baptized a month later.  Three days after his baptism he got a random phone call offering him a job and a flat.  He is so happy and in the young men presidency.

Brother Kumar, Ndaija, James, me, Sister Daines, Bobby.  James is getting baptized Jan. 8th.

Some of the Ilford ward

Muscle Mark got baptized!!

Another exchange with Sister Garcia.  She is so loving and happy.  She's excited to go baptize with her companion in Chelmsford.

Christmas Conference!  It was the best.  We had trainings, I saw Sis Cardosa again and we hugged.  President sang and blew us all out of the water.  A former Mo Tab participant.  Two enthusiastic thumbs up. And somehow I got roped into singing with another elder.  Nothing compared to President though.

Brother Beasley.  (Best less active).  We visit him every Saturday and he takes us out to eat.  He is buying a huge Christmas dinner for us and we are spending half of next Sunday with him.  He calls me "Shoe' and Sister Daines "Law".

Good evening :) Crazy crazy week as always.  Not sure where to start and where to end. Unfortunately Mark's baptism had to be postponed.  He is still coming to church and loves learning and wants to get baptized.  A concern came up and his baptism needed to be postponed.  We also passed him to the elders to continue to get ready for his baptism.  I'll keep you posted.   Eline is doing so fantastically well.  She accepted the word of wisdom no problem and continues to prepare for baptism on December 11th!  She is very prepared. Our other prepared favorite investigator, Jane Susan.  Pretty sure I already told you all about her.  Hopefully.  Her sister and niece recently got baptized in Gorelston (by Norwich) and told Jane about how they love the church, so now Jane wants to learn.  She was a referral from the Stratford ward.  She is so prepared it is so great teaching her.  Appointments last precisely 45...

July and warming up

July 19 HELLO!!!! Good to hear from all of you!  I know I say this every time. But time is going so fast. Next week will be transfers. I do not want to lose my companion. We need to stay together. You can pray for that. Just kidding. We will se what next week brings! P day will be on Tuesday again so emails will be late. This week was a good week!! I'm trying to remember everything that happened. It's all such a blur. Oh Nish!!! Our lovely investigator from India. She wow. She is all over the place. Every day (no every hour) Sister Guimaraes and I go back and forth of whether she I'll make her date for July 30th or not. We just don't know what to think. She has refused to give up coffee at all in the past. This week we committed her to no coffee and she did it! In fact in our lesson on Saturday she said she could give up coffee forever!! (Except for this coffee dessert but we will work it out). What a drastic change this was. All because she is praying and reading ev...
