Trainer Cayton is transferred back to Quezon City

A pretty scary storm has been coming down on the Philippines but where I am, I'm pretty safe and the mission always takes close precaution.  But we somehow do get even more rain and even more brownouts, multiple times a day.  I will be losing my companion, Elder Cayton and getting a new companion on thursday but I don't know too much about him right now but I'm excited.   Mamburao has been awesome we have great plans for the branch and more importantly they have this delicious ice cream here for only 60 p.

Thanks for all the prayers
Elder Soulier

Here's my district and who I live with

Transfer are upcoming this week and I don't know if I told you but typically we email on Tuesday but thats so if you change areas you can pack and leave the next day.  And for Mindoro we don't leave until Thursday, so we just got permission this time for monday.   I'm getting a new companion, Elder Cayton has been super awesome but he's moving on to better things.  He'll go back to mainland (he's happy cuz that means he gets christmas in the mainland, which means you get feed a lot of food, not so much here) and he'll be a zone leader and then go home in 2 transfers.  All I know now is that I'm getting another person shorter than me and not as good english as me, so a filipino.  So keep up the prayers cuz I have to somehow have to best transition cuz the addresses here are not exact, just Tagalog words for a specific area and then you go to that area if you want to find someone and ask houses if they know that name.  I'm stressed cuz it could just be the same as a white wash if I don't remember anything but I'm excited and I know I'll be sent a good missionary.   But Pres. has some amazing plans coming up for the branch in Mamburao, he was telling us last night when he called Elder Cayton to leadership so I'm still pumped up.  So after 2 transfers? he wants to bring in a set of sisters with us and that means we would have to have boundries too.  But the goal is a stake.  To have 150 active strong members (2 weeks ago? we had baptized the 100th member) before President leaves (July)  When he first said that we were like,  weren't you just telling everyone about false limitations?  But he explained, strong active members.  And to have a missionary come out of Mamburao which we are working with someone right now, Franklin and he just got assigned as branch clerk so that will prepare him now.  So that would be so awesome we have 2 prospectives for that, right now they are just indecicive.    And he wants Santa Cruz to be opened.  It would be done the same way Mamburao was opened.  One of the elder companionships would travel a couple days a week and find in Santa Cruz until the logistics work out that we can have a "special sacrament meeting" and then we got church.  But Mamburao is growing and you can tell by the fast food, its gonna be the new San Jose.  They planned on building a Jolliebess last year but a big beper (grocery store) was burned down so it got delayed.  But they will be building one soon, idk they haven't started anything.  In the PHilippines are place is starting to move/grow if they have a jollybees then the next step up is Mangasal and you know a place has got it if, they have a mcdonalds.   I'm so blessed to be here while I can, I just hope I can stay here for a long time.  I'm starting to see people differently when I think of the future of Mamburao.  A man out fixing the road (putting more dirt and rocks in the puddles of water) on his own freewill cuz nobody else will do it is branch president material.
I'm doing good with the language.  I need to just stay diligent and patient as always.  Its not easy always taking but I do get to here everyone's name and age multiple times.  I've focused so much on just always talking that my grammer probly isnt improving and it's not like we have time for language study but we do try are best to do that from 9 to 930 but usually we prefer cooking food cuz..well we're hungry boys.

Last week when we played 17 miricles in the bus
supper plus rice of course
We taught 2 pastors, we just walked in their church and taught them. And they said they would come to our sacrament meeting after they taught theirs, but they did not follow through.

Good evening :) Crazy crazy week as always.  Not sure where to start and where to end. Unfortunately Mark's baptism had to be postponed.  He is still coming to church and loves learning and wants to get baptized.  A concern came up and his baptism needed to be postponed.  We also passed him to the elders to continue to get ready for his baptism.  I'll keep you posted.   Eline is doing so fantastically well.  She accepted the word of wisdom no problem and continues to prepare for baptism on December 11th!  She is very prepared. Our other prepared favorite investigator, Jane Susan.  Pretty sure I already told you all about her.  Hopefully.  Her sister and niece recently got baptized in Gorelston (by Norwich) and told Jane about how they love the church, so now Jane wants to learn.  She was a referral from the Stratford ward.  She is so prepared it is so great teaching her.  Appointments last precisely 45...

July and warming up

July 19 HELLO!!!! Good to hear from all of you!  I know I say this every time. But time is going so fast. Next week will be transfers. I do not want to lose my companion. We need to stay together. You can pray for that. Just kidding. We will se what next week brings! P day will be on Tuesday again so emails will be late. This week was a good week!! I'm trying to remember everything that happened. It's all such a blur. Oh Nish!!! Our lovely investigator from India. She wow. She is all over the place. Every day (no every hour) Sister Guimaraes and I go back and forth of whether she I'll make her date for July 30th or not. We just don't know what to think. She has refused to give up coffee at all in the past. This week we committed her to no coffee and she did it! In fact in our lesson on Saturday she said she could give up coffee forever!! (Except for this coffee dessert but we will work it out). What a drastic change this was. All because she is praying and reading ev...
