Hello, sorry for not writing too much last week.  this week
has been an exciting one.  We had a particular great miracle
in a family.  We were walking around one night going to an
appointment while working with 2 members.  Ayen, one of
the members (20yrold preparing for a mission) waved at
some girl at some house and so I grabbed him, and was
like.  Let's go talk to them.  We go up and introduce
ourselves then suddenly her dad pulls in on his motorcycle.
So, we change the focus on him.  And, he is super nice
and we gave him a pamphlet and he said we could come
back on Saturday afternoon. Saying that so that we could
teach the whole family.  So, very good timing with catching
dad.  We came back on Saturday (ayen wasn't with us, he
was busy)  and they let us into their house and the whole
family came down and listened.  Dad, mom, a 20yrold and
16 daughter and grandma and grandpa.  None of them were
too familiar with the church, they are catholics so, they were questioning what was different with our religion.  When we
were teaching families and being together in the temple, the
grandpa totally came up right next to me (before he was
kinda hidding in the back) and was real interested.  It was
a awesome moment cuz the family is just so awesome so
pray that they'll be receptive to the Gospel.  Then the
16yrold, friend of ayen asked if she could come to church
and yah, she came to church.  I think she enjoyed it too cuz
when she came in some ym member came up and gave her
a big hug and pulled her into sacrament.

The sisters in my district have a person ready for baptism
but, he's not married yet but, he qualifies for 'law of
cohabitaion'.  So, that means, not just me but President
Alder needs to interview him.  And since the person isn't
too good at english I was a translator.  President came
down to pasig and basically I interviewed him while
President sat there.  then, at the end, I gave a summary
to President of everything he said.  Then President would
say a line, and I would translate then the person getting
interviewed would say something and I would have to
translate and this went on for a little bit.  President asking
questions and testifying.  funny little moment

ummm, we also had interviews this week with President.
They were good.  A little weird cuz he doesn't know us yet.
He asked me if I was obedient and I was just like...yah, I
think so.  but he's rlly awesome.  giving me some nice
motivation

anyway...little report there
loving the area and loving my happy companion, I better
stay here for another transfer
Pray for Nanay Beth and her oldest daughter, Monica.  Who
is coming to church with her kids but, he 'partner' does
not like us and they aren't married yet.  and the new family
thanks, love
Elder Soulier

Good evening :) Crazy crazy week as always.  Not sure where to start and where to end. Unfortunately Mark's baptism had to be postponed.  He is still coming to church and loves learning and wants to get baptized.  A concern came up and his baptism needed to be postponed.  We also passed him to the elders to continue to get ready for his baptism.  I'll keep you posted.   Eline is doing so fantastically well.  She accepted the word of wisdom no problem and continues to prepare for baptism on December 11th!  She is very prepared. Our other prepared favorite investigator, Jane Susan.  Pretty sure I already told you all about her.  Hopefully.  Her sister and niece recently got baptized in Gorelston (by Norwich) and told Jane about how they love the church, so now Jane wants to learn.  She was a referral from the Stratford ward.  She is so prepared it is so great teaching her.  Appointments last precisely 45...

July and warming up

July 19 HELLO!!!! Good to hear from all of you!  I know I say this every time. But time is going so fast. Next week will be transfers. I do not want to lose my companion. We need to stay together. You can pray for that. Just kidding. We will se what next week brings! P day will be on Tuesday again so emails will be late. This week was a good week!! I'm trying to remember everything that happened. It's all such a blur. Oh Nish!!! Our lovely investigator from India. She wow. She is all over the place. Every day (no every hour) Sister Guimaraes and I go back and forth of whether she I'll make her date for July 30th or not. We just don't know what to think. She has refused to give up coffee at all in the past. This week we committed her to no coffee and she did it! In fact in our lesson on Saturday she said she could give up coffee forever!! (Except for this coffee dessert but we will work it out). What a drastic change this was. All because she is praying and reading ev...
