I feel bad for elder ropati but that's super cool that you
got to meet him.  I'm very blessed to be with him for the
time I was.  Of course, I was the best looking person there
so I drew all sorts of people to church.  haha joke lang.

Christmas was a lot of fun, it didn't really feel like christmans.  New Years was a lot of fun, it was crazy.  We had the light the
world thing during the day then we had to be home at least
before 7.  The mall there, MegaMall, is so big.  It's giant.
President Koster stopped by and bought us krispekreme.
We meet two older senior sisters who work as family
history? by the temple.  1 of them is from eastmill creek.
She is in the other stake, she said she lives right by the
Garfs tho.  I forgot her name but she is a bunnion?  One
of her..relatives was a councilor of grandpy when he was
a host.  but they feed us mcdo, super nice cuz macdo is
the place to eat out.  But at night, it was so loud.  we sleep
out on kinda of a porch, I'll try to get a picture for next time
and so many times a firework almost flew into our house.
So loud.  Smoke, lights, war really.  At one point someone
just got in their car in the 'garage' and just started honking
the horn, they didn't stop for a while.  and everyone had
these plastic horns that made a lot of noise.  So no sleep
but super cool.

A family, the Lim family, was baptized (the mom and a
daughter) before I got here but the dad, Leo, hasn't been
baptized cuz of cigarettes but he is super awesome.  Like
you look at him and you just thing bishop.  He's always
been coming to church, he just got a new job after losing
his old one.  But last week he didn't come to church cuz
he was in the hospital and he got some sickness where if
he has more cigarettes, he's in big trouble,    so no more
cigarettes!  We plan on visiting him later today and
extending a date.
It's different the work here.  for example, we have a sister companionship in our district who is very good,  they find
about 22 new people a week ( our area found 0 the week
before I came but we ain't gonna hit that with us)  yet all
of their projections are still just referrals. Which, if you
remember about 100% of my last areas baptizms were
oym's so it's different but luckily I've got a really good
companion to always be with.

Love you lots
Elder Soulier

Good evening :) Crazy crazy week as always.  Not sure where to start and where to end. Unfortunately Mark's baptism had to be postponed.  He is still coming to church and loves learning and wants to get baptized.  A concern came up and his baptism needed to be postponed.  We also passed him to the elders to continue to get ready for his baptism.  I'll keep you posted.   Eline is doing so fantastically well.  She accepted the word of wisdom no problem and continues to prepare for baptism on December 11th!  She is very prepared. Our other prepared favorite investigator, Jane Susan.  Pretty sure I already told you all about her.  Hopefully.  Her sister and niece recently got baptized in Gorelston (by Norwich) and told Jane about how they love the church, so now Jane wants to learn.  She was a referral from the Stratford ward.  She is so prepared it is so great teaching her.  Appointments last precisely 45...

July and warming up

July 19 HELLO!!!! Good to hear from all of you!  I know I say this every time. But time is going so fast. Next week will be transfers. I do not want to lose my companion. We need to stay together. You can pray for that. Just kidding. We will se what next week brings! P day will be on Tuesday again so emails will be late. This week was a good week!! I'm trying to remember everything that happened. It's all such a blur. Oh Nish!!! Our lovely investigator from India. She wow. She is all over the place. Every day (no every hour) Sister Guimaraes and I go back and forth of whether she I'll make her date for July 30th or not. We just don't know what to think. She has refused to give up coffee at all in the past. This week we committed her to no coffee and she did it! In fact in our lesson on Saturday she said she could give up coffee forever!! (Except for this coffee dessert but we will work it out). What a drastic change this was. All because she is praying and reading ev...
