Hello, good weeks over here.  umm busy as always.  I'm enjoying working with E. Wood more.  We have been improving in a lot of ways but we still need to figure out how to really get it moving but I feel that we have been making some great progress.
We met as a mission (not Mindoro of course) so I finally got to see my batch but I was more excited to see my 'tatay' E. Cayton, It's not long until he goes home and I will probly never get to see him again.  The new mission thing is crazy.  I think I won't have a chance to return to Mindoro again on my mission but I am excited for the new times.  I probly am going to the Antipolo mission and I am kinda hoping for that because that's province and we are getting a district from the San Pablo Mission so I have high hopes for that.  While the Quezon City Mission would be great but it's going all city, no provinces.
I went to a buffet earlier today, vikings in SM North, a giant mall in our zone leaders area.  It was delicious and expensive.
Yesterday, Sunday, we got up and were planning when a member called us saying we had an investigator there at church, like 2 hrs early (church starts at 10) so we hurried and finised up and got over to the church.  It is the Tunding Sora (I only know how to pronounce it) stake chapel this last sunday so we walked out and caught a jeepney.  Umm, the Area Presidency of the Philippines spoke along with E. Holland.  Supa cool.  Then after church we asked these two ward mission members if they wanted to work (usually sunday is available for them)  but they asked if we were going to eat first.  Our response was like...no cuz our house is far away and we can't buy anything.  So they dragged us and feed us at this members house. (btw the house is a 2 tiny room stacked on 2 other houses, you've got to climb up different ladders and try to talk off your shoes cuz you always take of your shoes before entering) then we got a call from this awesome super old couple, the Dawa's.  They are like 90+ but whenever we visit them tatay is reading come follow me or the book of mormon.  they said they had an investigator for us and it was a family that was taught before but moved and the missionaries were never able to find them.  It turns out that they just moved down the street! but we found them, we weren't able to teach tho because we had an appointment right now.  So next week, when we teach them I think this will be the first referral I'll have gotten.  then we went to the next appiontment, picking up the people from the member that we just ate at.  We taught and then the members wanted to visited a less active so we went there and ate then...we went home.  So these are what my days are like.  We usually get punted a lot but, with tatay, we visit a lot of inactives.

lovin it

Good evening :) Crazy crazy week as always.  Not sure where to start and where to end. Unfortunately Mark's baptism had to be postponed.  He is still coming to church and loves learning and wants to get baptized.  A concern came up and his baptism needed to be postponed.  We also passed him to the elders to continue to get ready for his baptism.  I'll keep you posted.   Eline is doing so fantastically well.  She accepted the word of wisdom no problem and continues to prepare for baptism on December 11th!  She is very prepared. Our other prepared favorite investigator, Jane Susan.  Pretty sure I already told you all about her.  Hopefully.  Her sister and niece recently got baptized in Gorelston (by Norwich) and told Jane about how they love the church, so now Jane wants to learn.  She was a referral from the Stratford ward.  She is so prepared it is so great teaching her.  Appointments last precisely 45...

July and warming up

July 19 HELLO!!!! Good to hear from all of you!  I know I say this every time. But time is going so fast. Next week will be transfers. I do not want to lose my companion. We need to stay together. You can pray for that. Just kidding. We will se what next week brings! P day will be on Tuesday again so emails will be late. This week was a good week!! I'm trying to remember everything that happened. It's all such a blur. Oh Nish!!! Our lovely investigator from India. She wow. She is all over the place. Every day (no every hour) Sister Guimaraes and I go back and forth of whether she I'll make her date for July 30th or not. We just don't know what to think. She has refused to give up coffee at all in the past. This week we committed her to no coffee and she did it! In fact in our lesson on Saturday she said she could give up coffee forever!! (Except for this coffee dessert but we will work it out). What a drastic change this was. All because she is praying and reading ev...
