July 8, 2019 Elder Lawrence departs

Jacob Soulier
To:Jennifer Soulier,Jason Soulier

hey, I've been nervous for stuff coming up but, things

have been going well.  A 19yrold member guy came up to
us (he's kinda lessactive) and he said he wanted to prep
for a mission so, he's gonna been working with us and I'm
gonna try to help him prepare.
The Beth crew.  So I don't remember if I told ya'll about her
oldest daughter, Nic.   She has been gaining interest in our
message and coming the church.  She has 2 kids but, she
isnt married.  So, we kinda addressed that concern early
and Beth, her mom freaked out.  Cuz she's married to this
guy that she just absolutly hates rn.  We said the word
marrige and Beth jumped up and yelled telling Nic, nonono
don't ever do that.  Nic was just chill about it, she wasn't
totally hate but she was just like, well, my mom got married
and that worked out terribly so..I probly shouldn't do that.
It seems like marriges never workout well in the end.  So,
we told her to pray and rlly ponder about it.  The next time
we came back and we were teaching and they started
roasting me saying elder lawrence is super nice and i'm
just...kinda mean.  I was like...oh, I'm mean?  then she's
like no...you're just straightup and then Nic looked at me
and was like...ya you were straight up with me about the
marrige thing and actually, I admit, you're starting to change
my mind about it.   boom so big.   We were so worried
how we were gonna get Nic to be for marrige.  Then, I
asked if she talked to brother about it yet.  She said no,
so I said that I'd like to get to know Brother and we can talk
to him.  So, we set an appointment for Saturday.   so
Saturday, we're gonna have to get ready to talk to her
partner about it while trying to be nice while trying to teach
him the Gospel also.  And Beth has a 10 year old, 13 and
15 yearold (yes, all girls) and the 10 and 15 should be
getting baptized not this week, but the next one. the 13
yrold, Vuny.  Comes to church sometimes and her bestfriend
is a member in our ward but, she's so sassy.  Idk, she should
get baptized also but...she's so hard.

So, we've got some crazy stuff with transfers but, theres a
little bit of a report

at the manalastas family, this is a super, favorite dessert
of mine, mango graham.  They make a lot of it just cuz I
love it so much
the district
elder lawrence found drpepper and barqs.   He's been
looking for this since he got to the Philippines
planes still fly over us everysecond
the Beth crew (Beth that got baptized, Guilean, 15 yrold,
and Nic, the marrige one)
I'm gona miss this man

Good evening :) Crazy crazy week as always.  Not sure where to start and where to end. Unfortunately Mark's baptism had to be postponed.  He is still coming to church and loves learning and wants to get baptized.  A concern came up and his baptism needed to be postponed.  We also passed him to the elders to continue to get ready for his baptism.  I'll keep you posted.   Eline is doing so fantastically well.  She accepted the word of wisdom no problem and continues to prepare for baptism on December 11th!  She is very prepared. Our other prepared favorite investigator, Jane Susan.  Pretty sure I already told you all about her.  Hopefully.  Her sister and niece recently got baptized in Gorelston (by Norwich) and told Jane about how they love the church, so now Jane wants to learn.  She was a referral from the Stratford ward.  She is so prepared it is so great teaching her.  Appointments last precisely 45...

July and warming up

July 19 HELLO!!!! Good to hear from all of you!  I know I say this every time. But time is going so fast. Next week will be transfers. I do not want to lose my companion. We need to stay together. You can pray for that. Just kidding. We will se what next week brings! P day will be on Tuesday again so emails will be late. This week was a good week!! I'm trying to remember everything that happened. It's all such a blur. Oh Nish!!! Our lovely investigator from India. She wow. She is all over the place. Every day (no every hour) Sister Guimaraes and I go back and forth of whether she I'll make her date for July 30th or not. We just don't know what to think. She has refused to give up coffee at all in the past. This week we committed her to no coffee and she did it! In fact in our lesson on Saturday she said she could give up coffee forever!! (Except for this coffee dessert but we will work it out). What a drastic change this was. All because she is praying and reading ev...
