gotta say......but of a disappoint week.  The only people we seem to be excited for is the people we recently found because they haven't dissapointed us like all the other people we have found.  One family that we found that we were so excited about and have been reading a lot of the book of mormon have shown how dedicated they are to a catholic church.  Anything we now teach is just compared...Oh you believe that babys shouldnt get baptized...well our pastor says different.
But a lot of good things too.  The way the Philippines is, filipinos don't get their patriatical blessing until their mission most of the time so this last sunday, my companion get his.  I had to sit for a bit in the church but it was still cool.   Also, I haven't wanted to focus on it but it seems, for all areas here in the city that most of the people who are baptized are kids.  So, this last Saturday we tried again to go to this one rc, that was baptized before I was here, (12yr old)  then they immediatly took us to a house of their friend and we were suddenly inside this tiny house with as many kids and babies as possible.  Then we had to teach, so we did a little object lesson.  Then, we invited them to come to church and the next day...5 of them came.  so really cool.

And the Dawa's (this missionary older couple that I've mentioned before).  The Mendoza family lives right next to them and one other room.   In that room lived Tatay Roger who was taught and baptized last year and has been coming to church since.  Just recently, he passed away.  Which was a sad moment.  And now a new person has moved into the room and the Dawa's say that they want to be taught but of course, are busy.  We haven't meet them yet but we are excited to because if you live next to the Dawa's, or a referall from them...it's so big

We did a little service activity earlier today in a different area
the pictures I know you want to see
the picture of Christ that, unexpectedly lamenated
Tatay Bernardo ( the tatay we always work with) had a birthday but...He hasn't work with us for more than a week.  His brother is really sick so he's been kinda..sad.  We actually celebrated his b-day as he went to bed early

Good evening :) Crazy crazy week as always.  Not sure where to start and where to end. Unfortunately Mark's baptism had to be postponed.  He is still coming to church and loves learning and wants to get baptized.  A concern came up and his baptism needed to be postponed.  We also passed him to the elders to continue to get ready for his baptism.  I'll keep you posted.   Eline is doing so fantastically well.  She accepted the word of wisdom no problem and continues to prepare for baptism on December 11th!  She is very prepared. Our other prepared favorite investigator, Jane Susan.  Pretty sure I already told you all about her.  Hopefully.  Her sister and niece recently got baptized in Gorelston (by Norwich) and told Jane about how they love the church, so now Jane wants to learn.  She was a referral from the Stratford ward.  She is so prepared it is so great teaching her.  Appointments last precisely 45...

July and warming up

July 19 HELLO!!!! Good to hear from all of you!  I know I say this every time. But time is going so fast. Next week will be transfers. I do not want to lose my companion. We need to stay together. You can pray for that. Just kidding. We will se what next week brings! P day will be on Tuesday again so emails will be late. This week was a good week!! I'm trying to remember everything that happened. It's all such a blur. Oh Nish!!! Our lovely investigator from India. She wow. She is all over the place. Every day (no every hour) Sister Guimaraes and I go back and forth of whether she I'll make her date for July 30th or not. We just don't know what to think. She has refused to give up coffee at all in the past. This week we committed her to no coffee and she did it! In fact in our lesson on Saturday she said she could give up coffee forever!! (Except for this coffee dessert but we will work it out). What a drastic change this was. All because she is praying and reading ev...
