Pray for
Justin and LJ Caalam
They are two kids that want to come to church but sometimes they sleep in and their mom works night shifts (dad lives in canada) so she sleeps during the day and can't help them.  Pray for the mom to help them and for them to wake up ;)
Precy Mahilum
She has been coming to church but recently she got a job and her offday depends on the week.  So pray that she'll get sunday off and that she'll text us when she is home so we can visit her
Luzminda and Marise
New people that finally came to church but pray that they have understanding (they are born again) and that they have time for us to visit them.
Mendoza Pamilya
A awesome family that lives right, right next door this members that are the biggest missionaries ever (they are super old now but whenever we visit them, the old tatay is outside, just garments, reading the book of mormon, they've been missionaries for a long time)  but this family wants to come to church along with the kids but, they don't have too much money (they like that the church could possibly help them) and their boss doesn't like our religion so that can't come to church because of him!  And they dad always is at work and the mom is always sewing for money, even at night
Ludy Palisoc
She's been taught for a long time but she has a word of wisdom problem, we are trying new ways to help her.  Pray to give her strength and energy to overcome this trail so she can get baptized.

I can add more but all these people need powerful prayers and we can only pray so much.  We really appreciate the help

So, more about the district.  1 sister companionship has
been having a  lot of success in the area.  This sister from
hong kong has been doing a lot of good work while training
a sister from california.  They found a family from pakistan
that doesn't speak tagalog or english but a sister in the
mission is from pakistan so she has been coming over
and teaching them.  The sister from hong kong will be
leaving a becoming a stl while the pakistan sister will be
replacing her (the pakistan family baptism is this week so
I dodged having to give them a interview, (they were
interviewed yesterday) (the pakistan sister is new also,
she's done 3 transfers in the phlippines but she is
foreighner so she should be picking up tagalog faster
than the american sisters do (no offensive to those sister
americans, they are good, just a bit slower with the language typically))
the other sister companionship has been a bit of a struggle
for the area wise for a while.  The sister that will be here
still is just finishing her first transfer (american) and her
new companion will be a filipino.

November 14

Good evening :) Crazy crazy week as always.  Not sure where to start and where to end. Unfortunately Mark's baptism had to be postponed.  He is still coming to church and loves learning and wants to get baptized.  A concern came up and his baptism needed to be postponed.  We also passed him to the elders to continue to get ready for his baptism.  I'll keep you posted.   Eline is doing so fantastically well.  She accepted the word of wisdom no problem and continues to prepare for baptism on December 11th!  She is very prepared. Our other prepared favorite investigator, Jane Susan.  Pretty sure I already told you all about her.  Hopefully.  Her sister and niece recently got baptized in Gorelston (by Norwich) and told Jane about how they love the church, so now Jane wants to learn.  She was a referral from the Stratford ward.  She is so prepared it is so great teaching her.  Appointments last precisely 45...

July and warming up

July 19 HELLO!!!! Good to hear from all of you!  I know I say this every time. But time is going so fast. Next week will be transfers. I do not want to lose my companion. We need to stay together. You can pray for that. Just kidding. We will se what next week brings! P day will be on Tuesday again so emails will be late. This week was a good week!! I'm trying to remember everything that happened. It's all such a blur. Oh Nish!!! Our lovely investigator from India. She wow. She is all over the place. Every day (no every hour) Sister Guimaraes and I go back and forth of whether she I'll make her date for July 30th or not. We just don't know what to think. She has refused to give up coffee at all in the past. This week we committed her to no coffee and she did it! In fact in our lesson on Saturday she said she could give up coffee forever!! (Except for this coffee dessert but we will work it out). What a drastic change this was. All because she is praying and reading ev...
