Ummm Hello!  I'm currently in Pateros 2nd ward.  So, that's city.  Our area is pretty small but, it's super awesome.  We are always busy with teaching people.  It's a lot of fun, just tiring sometimes (like always).  And it's super hot, it somehow just keeps getting hotter, we sweat so much.  I'm currently with Elder Lawrence.  He's from Arizona and we are pretty similar for time on the mission so, he's good at Tagalog.  We are hoping that we can stay together one more transfer.  We have a lot of fun cuz we are two tall, blonde, good lookin dudes and we get a lot of attention.  It's funny cuz everyone things we look goood but, typically it seems the younger people think my companion looks better and the older people (like grandmas) think I look better.  Which is kinda odd when this old lady will say I look super cute and handsome.  And literally everyone says my companion looks like Jack from the Titanic, only sometimes do I get called captain america.   But we've been having a lot of amazing experiences too with the people we are teaching.  People let us into their house and buy us food (and soda, we always get feed soft drinks) while the little kids in the family will whisper to their mom asking, "when will we eat? We haven't eaten all day".  Awe man, it's killer.  But they are so awesome and I love teaching people about the gospel.  Sometimes it's just like..'boom, yah, it is perfect and it will prepare you for eternal life'.

Baptism of Dave
His newly married wife is a member and Dave is super awesome.  He's going to go on to be a great priesthood holder dad in the future.   He's super excited to enter the temple one day.
District Lunch
Our district has a lot of fun and we always have lunch at district council.  Notice that soda, Royal, the most delicious drink ever
Some cute kids

November 14

Good evening :) Crazy crazy week as always.  Not sure where to start and where to end. Unfortunately Mark's baptism had to be postponed.  He is still coming to church and loves learning and wants to get baptized.  A concern came up and his baptism needed to be postponed.  We also passed him to the elders to continue to get ready for his baptism.  I'll keep you posted.   Eline is doing so fantastically well.  She accepted the word of wisdom no problem and continues to prepare for baptism on December 11th!  She is very prepared. Our other prepared favorite investigator, Jane Susan.  Pretty sure I already told you all about her.  Hopefully.  Her sister and niece recently got baptized in Gorelston (by Norwich) and told Jane about how they love the church, so now Jane wants to learn.  She was a referral from the Stratford ward.  She is so prepared it is so great teaching her.  Appointments last precisely 45...

July and warming up

July 19 HELLO!!!! Good to hear from all of you!  I know I say this every time. But time is going so fast. Next week will be transfers. I do not want to lose my companion. We need to stay together. You can pray for that. Just kidding. We will se what next week brings! P day will be on Tuesday again so emails will be late. This week was a good week!! I'm trying to remember everything that happened. It's all such a blur. Oh Nish!!! Our lovely investigator from India. She wow. She is all over the place. Every day (no every hour) Sister Guimaraes and I go back and forth of whether she I'll make her date for July 30th or not. We just don't know what to think. She has refused to give up coffee at all in the past. This week we committed her to no coffee and she did it! In fact in our lesson on Saturday she said she could give up coffee forever!! (Except for this coffee dessert but we will work it out). What a drastic change this was. All because she is praying and reading ev...
