So, last friday after our morning pray our roommates still were not getting out of bed
but we continued on and plan and got out at 10 and just left them.   We came back and
ate at the house and they were still not having a good time so before we left we took their
temperatures and tried to find them the right medicine.   We texted our mission nurse and
got out to our appointments.  As we are out the mission nurse is calling us saying that
prbly, we shouldn't just leave 2 sick elders alone at the house.  But, we were like...well
we have appointments.  so we just continued on.  Our ward had a baptism that night at
6 and Elder Schmutz, since he is super nice and knows the family apparently, would be
coming.  So, we didn't wanna go to the baptism cuz we don't wanna miss time for
appointments but, we know our members will get a bit mad if we don't come.  So, we visit
someone we are teaching (a guy we found last week and came to church but  yes, is not
married) and we taught him and 5 then invited and took him to the baptism at 6.  The
thing is at 5 also, the husband of the mission nurse called us and said they would be
taking our roommates to the hospital and they wanted us to come with.  I told him we had
set appointments at 6 and 7.  He asked if we could be at our house at 8 so he could pick
us up.  I said yes.   soo we taught this guy and brought him to the baptism but elder
schmutz came late, past 6:30.  So that's when the baptism started.  As we were walking
from the sacrament room to the font I said hi again to elder schmutz, someone I just saw
yesterday.  He told me that this member family has apparently brought a non member
friend.  So after the ordinance we went found and talked to this lady.  She was super nice,
saying she was shy being at our church for the first time w/ her 2 kids.  We asked when
we could visit her.  She said, anyday at 4 pm.  soo I asked if we could come sunday so
that her husband could also be home and she said yes.    sooo that was rlly cool cuz that
would'nt have happened if one of the people that we are teaching didn't come w/ us to
the baptism.  After talking w/ her we left early w/out saying goodbye to Elder Shmutz and
we ran to our next appointment.   the next appointment was a return appointment with this
family that we just found. It turns out they actually thought we would be not coming until
next friday but we taught and they totally committed to come to church even tho this last
week was stake conference and the stake chapel is far away.  Then, we ran home
(all of this is rlly running).
Elder Healy, the senior couple was at our house and took us to the hospital.  He told us
that ealier, he called the ap's and asked what he should do about us having appointments
at 6 and 7 and apparently they told him to just pick us up anyway, and just have us miss
our appointments but, elder healy decided to not do that.   haha, we appreciated that a lot.

btw.   that appointment on sunday w/ that sister that came to the baptism, she was out
shopping when we went to her house and she said that they'll be going on vacation soon
to their province so she doesn't know when they are coming back and the other family
didn't come to church but...we have a return appointment w/ them and we will be following
up with that but neverless, very exciting

Love, Elder Soulier

November 14

Good evening :) Crazy crazy week as always.  Not sure where to start and where to end. Unfortunately Mark's baptism had to be postponed.  He is still coming to church and loves learning and wants to get baptized.  A concern came up and his baptism needed to be postponed.  We also passed him to the elders to continue to get ready for his baptism.  I'll keep you posted.   Eline is doing so fantastically well.  She accepted the word of wisdom no problem and continues to prepare for baptism on December 11th!  She is very prepared. Our other prepared favorite investigator, Jane Susan.  Pretty sure I already told you all about her.  Hopefully.  Her sister and niece recently got baptized in Gorelston (by Norwich) and told Jane about how they love the church, so now Jane wants to learn.  She was a referral from the Stratford ward.  She is so prepared it is so great teaching her.  Appointments last precisely 45...

July and warming up

July 19 HELLO!!!! Good to hear from all of you!  I know I say this every time. But time is going so fast. Next week will be transfers. I do not want to lose my companion. We need to stay together. You can pray for that. Just kidding. We will se what next week brings! P day will be on Tuesday again so emails will be late. This week was a good week!! I'm trying to remember everything that happened. It's all such a blur. Oh Nish!!! Our lovely investigator from India. She wow. She is all over the place. Every day (no every hour) Sister Guimaraes and I go back and forth of whether she I'll make her date for July 30th or not. We just don't know what to think. She has refused to give up coffee at all in the past. This week we committed her to no coffee and she did it! In fact in our lesson on Saturday she said she could give up coffee forever!! (Except for this coffee dessert but we will work it out). What a drastic change this was. All because she is praying and reading ev...
