Hello,
I have no idea where to start. This week may be the craziest week of my life. But I am getting used to it.
So that is good.
So that is good.
Yes I am now in Ilford! It is in the Romford Stake and is just outside of London. It is East London and
Essex. And it is absolutely insane. English? What is English? There are people from around the world
here. Everyone that is, except for British people. They are not here. Makes sense. The main places
represented are Africa and Middle East. So many muslims and pentacostals. There is a nickname for Ilford,
"Ilfordstan". Basically what Ilford is.

So I am going to do my best to explain a few things that go on here now.
(BTW I think I have entered a whole new world and now I am a greenie missionary all over again)
How to find people in Colchester: "Hello! Excuse me, my friend and I are asking everyone a question today.
What is one thing that makes you happy?" *launch into discussion about happiness and then relate the
gospel to an aspect of their life and set up a return appointment at the end. Pretty simple.

How to find people in Ilford: *go up to someone wearing headphones* "Hey what music are you listening
to? ... Hey want to come to church?" or "HELLO! What is your name?" *going up to someone who is
walking and minding their own business. (yes we did find people by first asking them their name.
AND IT WORKED!)

How to teach people in Colchester: "Once you have received an answer of the restoration of Christ's
gospel, you can know by the same witness that Joseph Smith was a prophet of God. This will bless your
life immensely by...."

How to teach people in Ilford: "God? Good. Jesus Christ, His Son. Jesus Christ want you baptized. *motion
of person being baptized*. You baptize, yes? October 16th? Yes. You happy."

Baptism in Colchester: *quiet hymns being played in the background* *member of the stake presidency
and bishopric there* *cute gifts given during the talks*

Baptsim in Ilfrod: *not sure who is actually presiding, missionaries run the baptism* *30 Africans come 40
mins late* *while the baptism prayer is being said you can hear "Amens" echoing through the small room*

Cochester: "You can lock the flat if you want"
Ilford: "TRIPLE LOCK that door!"
Cochester: "Well what should we do for Pday? We can go visit sites!" or "What should we make for dinner
tonight? Oh there is a new recipe from a member we can try out!"

Ilford: "What is Pday?" "Oh shoot we forgot to plan in dinnner. Ugh not again!"
I don't know how else to explain Ilford. It is crazy. So busy. So many people. So much fun. So crazy.
And back to the red buses! Weird because some of the buses take me back to Lea Valley. I'll send a
screenshot of the map--it is just outside of Lea Valley.

MIRACLES!!!!!
Sister Swann and I were walking down a really dark alleyway (it is getting dark so fast) and I was a little
nervous. (You know how I am--I am the biggest scardy cat) Well, I was freaking out a little bit and humming
"A Child's Prayer" because what else would you do on a mission and a little miracle happened. The street
light above us, which had been off and looked burnt out, suddenly turned on right as we stepped under it.
Surprised we kept walking and once we passed to the next street light that was working the previous light
turned off. And somehow we were able to walk down the alleyway in light the entire time. It was amazing!
Heavenly Father looked out for our daily needs. What a tender mercy from Him!!

I don't know what has been happening this week. Well, a lot has happened from Fred, to Colchester, to
Ilford, to new assigments, to calling an ambulance for an investigator in Ilord, to working until 10:25 at
night and not getting home until at least 9:25 and next week there are 2 exchanges and a zone conference
in which we need to give a training. Plus Ilford has a bit of a reputation of baptizing a lot. My head is just
spinning a little bit. But I have felt Heavenly Father's hand so much. You all must have been praying so much
because there have been many MANY little and big miracles that we have witnessed this week. Great and
wonderful things. The street light is just a small example of what happened. Clearly, He is watching over us
and He is answering your prayers. I am so grateful for all of the support and for Heavenly Father. Because
there is NO WAY that I can do any part of this. There is too much work just too much. But that is the whole
thing, I can't do this! BUT God can. And that is all that matters. So we are going to see some amazing
miracles people. This is going to be a blessed, blessed area. The Lord is going to continue to hasten His
work. I can feel it! And good thing for it, because I can't do any of this.

I wish I could explain better about all of this, but here is a little taste. Have a super good week and I will
talk to you later!!
talk to you later!!
Love Sister Soulier
Wrap up of Colchester: Ana and Dino are doing wonderfully. They will be great in the church. Ana sent
me a really sweet message on facebook. I will take a screenshot and show you.
