Dear family,
Sorry this email is so distracted right now. I am trying to email
multiple people at once and it is not working! Plus bad wifi.
This week I got to go on an exchange with Sister Brito and Sister
Brown. Two of my old companions!!! SO GREAT!!!!!! And I can't remember
anything about the exchanges. My goodness my brain is fried.
This week we needed to bike to the chapel for correlation. We bundled
up an incredible amount. I felt like the younger brother in "a
Christmas story" when he is wearing a million clothes and he hobbles
around with his arms sticking out. Then the poor kid gets pushed over
and can't get back up. Luckily Sister Matthews is nicer than that so I
didn't get pushed over. She actually probably couldn't cuz she would
fall over too! We ended up biking to the chapel in the dark...and the
rain...it was a good trial of faith :). We bike along back roads of
fields so there is very little light. Except sometimes when someone
would be walking with a flashlight or another biker. The little light
on our bikes are quite pitiful and only light about 3 feet in front of
you which is barely enough time to jump out of the way of a bush. But
at least we had a light. Occasionally there would be a glint of
something, wasn't really sure if it was a person a tree or a car, then
all of the sudden you'd hear a warning and a biker would whiz past!
Good thing we weren't really fast so we had time to react :). Little
things that count.
This week is mega packed! Wednesday is MLC (so excited for an area
seventy coming!!!!!!! Always makes MLC so great.) Thursday we are
preparing a training for the zone on Saturday, Friday is the mission
tour with elder Phillips and again we will be in London all day.
Saturday is Zone meeting! Crazy week. We have 3 days out.
Adam and Andrea had a bit of a hiccup this week and texted us saying
that they didn't want any more lessons because they were afraid their
family wouldn't accept them learning more. Gave us a heart attack for
about 4 days. However with a very carefully worded text on our end and
a lot of prayers, they texted and said they do want to keep learning.
Just not baptism yet. Which is fine. They don't know about the plan of
salvation yet. And once you get past that, there is no turning back!!
And just happy birthday to everyone!!!!!! Happy birthday Lily happy
birthday mom! Happy birthday happy birthday!!! And the whole package
thing will probably get lost in the mail this week and won't arrive
until at least the following week...or in other words I just looked at
the time and don't have time anymore. Well. What can you do??
Love you!
