3 exchanges, 15 bananas, 1 giant jar of nutella, 2 batches of pancakes, 1 eye twitching, "finding tag", spine twistingly awkward lessons, 1 smoke alarm  at 7 am , first bbq of the year, and an obsession of wicked/high school musical.  This week only could've happened in the Wild West of the England London Mission. This is one for the journal.  (Oops definitely should've written it in.)  (that would've been good innit?) Hello America and Brazil and Australia and England and everyone else!!   Guess who got sunburned??? My companion.  The sweet, terrifyingly competitive, Sister Cobabe.  Not too bad though.  But the sun came out!!  And our skin was like, "What? What is this?"  And then it said "Ahhh no I'm melting!"  (oops sorry my wicked side is coming out)  That is what happens after 3 straight days of sun in England. Finding was fun in the sun.  When I was with Sister De Oliveira (from Sao Pa...

Hey fam!! Absolutely wonderful being able to skype with all of you yesterday! The time flew by and now I'm stoked to work super hard and enjoy the mission! Thank you to everything you all do--I loved joining for family prayer and breakfast although I would still gladly trade the Jaffa cakes for yogurt and fruit. I am so so grateful for all the support and love--it's rare to get that for many people! I don't have a ton to update on cuz we just talked, but life is going super good. I love it here. England is beginning to rain more so that's fun. 1st day together Alex--He's agnostic, but for some reason wants to keep meeting with us.  It's really fun teaching him. Vassislis--the crazy Greek guy we taught the Word of Wisdom to while he was drinking coffee.   John Kester--he is doing super good! Mother's Day call

Hiya!!! So I'm just gonna jump into this email. Hope it's a good one. We taught Tory. Wow that woman is a dream. Keep in mind she was an atheist 6 months ago. We taught l3 doctrine of Christ!!!!! Classic. She had a lot of questions about baptism. After we taught faith and repentance we asked her, "what do you think baptism means?" This was her literal response. Before we had taught anything--- Us: "What come to mind when you hear the word baptism?" Tory: "Well, I don't know for sure but I have a feeling." Us: "Okay so what's your feeling telling you?" Tory: I think it's like a commitment. I feel like it's showing God that I want to be committed to Him and follow Him. And it's the start of the commitment to God. And I feel like there's a second reason too but correct me if I'm wrong because I want to be aligned with the church teachings. I think it's like a rebirth. I don...
