And it is so good to travel through Finsbury Park and Ilford. Makes me miss all my
old areas.
It's been a good week on our end. Feels like a long one cuz it hasn't been P Day for a while!
Also the beautiful weather has been put on hold for a couple of days. English summer has kicked
in and it has rained nearly every day. Sometimes rain is odd here though. It mists instead of rains.
And you can't feel yourself getting hit with the rain, but you get wetter and wetter as you walk.
Super strange. I think instead of raining it is just a giant cloud descending on England.

Sister Lam and I saw Nora that day too! She is getting so deep into the church it's awesome!!
She has been to church for the past 3 Sundays :). Only problem is she has had to go to Stevenage
for two because it is a lot closer to her and she had to leave early. And she's going to a ward BBQ
today!!! She sparked that idea all by herself. It's awesome!!!!!

K so we were talking to her about her family and if her family would be interested. She said her
dad believes in God, but doesn't like religion (golden amiright??). So we gave her a restoration
pamphlet and a Book of Mormon to give him. We asked her about it a week and a half later and
she said that he is already on page 100!!!!!! Apparently he is retired and so he fills his day with
reading. SO COOL!!!!!! No we just have to see him and seal the deal! Nora's family is going to
get baptised!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sister Lam and Sister Cook are absolutely darling. Sister Cook and Sister Cobabe were called at
8:50 and were tagged and had to find someone before 9. They ran out the door so fast and sister
Lam and I heard them thunder down the stairs. Sister Lam and I had to stay inside to do call ins.
But the sisters found someone at 8:58!!! When thy called Elder Satterthwaite to pass the tag he
started crying I am sure. Sisters rock what can you do. That night they rehearsed their finding story
and sister Lam and I were dying with laughter. They were knocking doors, running across the
street, calling people in the phone--they went hard. So fun! Can't believe that was the last
exchange of the transfer!! How times flies.

All we talked about was how to get investigators to church. Same problems just keep coming up
again and again! We have got people like elder smith though so the mission is in good hands!!

Saturday we went to a boy's baptism. His name is Tade and he is darling. These are a couple of
the girls in Bishop's family. So blonde and so cute!
Nora!!! The woman that we love. She is getting deeper and deeper into this, there is no way she
isn't gonna be a Mormon.

Always amazed we make it home safe from driving in London. About 5
seconds later a bike pulled up in between us. Poor guy was so trapped
we could've taught him the entire restoration. It's like when we were
in France (Italy?) and had to tuck in our rear view mirrors because of
a giant lake and mountain squishing a tiny road with trucks. Wow that
was such a first world problem sentence. we are blessed.
Okay so Sunday should get a whole email all by itself. What a crazy
day that wiped out sister Cobabe and me.
It started off at about 7:44 in the morning. Sister Cobabe and I were
enjoying our Sunday morning, listening to a talk and getting ready.
Then we got a phone call and found out that we needed to be at ward
council at 8:00 am. And nobody told us! Well at least until that
moment. So we furiously out pur half wet hair in a ponytail and biked
like maniacs to the church. It's a 25 minute bike ride away (we did it
in 18 yesss 💪🏼) and we stumbled into ward council room. And let me
tell you, churches already have an obsession with heaters and combine
that with English people in the summer equals two red faced
missionaries. I was using the lesson 2: Plan of Salvation pamphle as a
fan with a full arm motion in order to get some air in the stifling
room. Halfway though Bishop asked if we were okay cuz it looked like
we were gonna collapse. Hey but at least we made it there!!!!!!!
Then church which is great as always. Afterward we ran out the door
again (not have time in between activities why would we?!) and biked
to a referrals house. We stopped for a few minutes then biked again to
catch a train to Watford. That day we got to go visit the Milton
Keynes sisters!!!! Sister Murakane and Sister Cabral. We went finding
for an hour in the mist cloud rain thing that I can't fully explain so
I'm just gonna leave it at that thanks. Sister Cabral and I found a
guy named Kojo. It means he was born on a Monday in Ghana. They have
names for days of the week and if you are born on that day, then that
can sometimes begin your name. Pretty cool. He was walking about 50
feet in front of us and sister Cabral and I politely yelled to track
him down. I think he was a little surprised. I love people.
After finding sister Cobabe and I shared a training we made about
putting God's will before our own. And how to apply this in
discipleship. I think they really liked it. Time slipped away as it
does and we had to run (see I told you--always running!!!! You think
I'd get in shape with all this running my goodness) to catch the
train. Turns out it was 10 minutes late so we made it!!! Yay!!! We
were happy and so so tired. It was fast Sunday too and we hadn't eaten
yet. Afterward the bike home was a bit of a difficulty because we were
farther than usual and couldn't find the path temporarily. Got in the
end though because we made it home at 8:56!!!!! Wow I know--God is
good!!!!! And then we ate so much food. Tortellini and spinach. It was
delectable and oh so needed.
