Very funny right. but I feel like I don't know much about your mission and now that I understand how missions work I'm super curious what your missionary life was like. The only questions I had for you while you were out was what kind of food you ate....that's like the least important part. Send me a rundown description. What were your areas like and how long were you in, in each one. What was your mission president like. (My is better sadly, he is garunteed at least a general authourity position after he is released and you'll just never understand how much good he does, I feel it just from thinking it) But like he always talks about living the higher law. What were your companions like, from all parts of the world if I remember right. Did you ever have any leadership? You could've been an AP and trainer and I won't have known. How was you success with converting people. Was it a lot of planting seeds or did you have any baptizes. Were you super close to member families? Do you get feed dinners there. did you fall in love with particualler scriptures or talks

Oct 7, 2023 What a crazy morning. Jason had his first big presentation with his new job, and on the second slide into it, sees a call come in with the voicemail transcribing, "Elder Gong would like to meet with you." Of course he loses all concentration, someone gets through the call, then finds me and tells me what happened. Before we can call back, we leave for the airport for a long awaited trip to Beritz, a town in France on the beach. While there, we zoom with Elder Gong. "Have you committed any felonies? Is there anything to prevent you financially from a calling?" Stuff like that. Maybe 20 minutes long. We hung up, amazed to have talked with an apostle. Our world was definitely taking an unexpected turn. I even got a call later that day saying my dream position at Skyline was open if I wanted the job. We come home, and a week before Thanksgiving, get a call from Pres. Oaks office that he'd like to meet ...

We came back and ate at the house and they were still not having a good time so before we left we took their temperatures and tried to find them the right medicine. We texted our mission nurse and got out to our appointments. As we are out the mission nurse is calling us saying that prbly, we shouldn't just leave 2 sick elders alone at the house. MLC The definition of a mormon is one going to, coming to, and sitting in meetings... I think Elder Holland said that. Could be wrong. But it perfectly describes the past week!
